We now have Direct TV for our satellite service.
And because we are new customers (and because satellite carriers give OODLES of things to NEW customers while they give their OLD customers SQUAT), we get NFL’s Sunday Ticket free for this year.
I have no idea what that means other than I think I get to choose ANY football game I want to watch regardless if it’s normally broadcast in our area.
If that’s true, I’m excited.
First game I want to watch : Bears vs. Packers.
But because I’m TV- and satellite-technology challenged, I need to borrow somebody’s 12 year old kid to figure it all out in two nanoseconds and then take two hours to show me how it works…
Then I can watch some football!
Hope you get it figured out! I miss watching the US Open tennis. In the meantime, I have been bingewatching Heroes to get ready for Heroes Reborn. It is amazing how much happened in the original series that I forgot about and still gasp like it was first time with the myriad of plot twists….

Joanne – Does the rest of the family like Heroes as much as you do? We watched some of them way back when and I can’t remember why we stopped…..

Tikva, Dan, and I do . Eliana is starting to get into Heroes, but Sylar is really creepy. The show kind of lost its footing during the writer’s strike. Writer changes led to a decline in the show. However, I stuck through to the end, and I am still excited about the version. I watched the online prequel which gives a clue to how the storyline will play out. fingers crossed.
I will have to give it a try based on your recommendation, Joanne. 🙂
