A lot of you may have already seen this video, but I found it fascinating enough to watch a couple of times.
It’s about a bicycle that’s been adapted so that to turn the bicycle left, you have to turn the handlebars to the right.
Sounds easy, but it’s not.
I I especially like the punch line: Knowledge is not understanding.
This is so fascinating, that I’ve started looking at other videos thatΒ Smarter Every DayΒ has.
Amazing and informative!
PS Special thanks to Carol for posting this first on Facebook. π

I thought this was so interesting. The best part, I thought, was his son learned to ride it in only minutes. No wonder I was frustrated with piano lessons. Should of had lessons 58 years ago. I am going to check out the other web site. Thank you Kathy!
One of the differences between the dad and the kid is that the dad only dedicated a few minutes every day to the bike whereas the kid did most of his hours over a few days. Of course, the kid didn’t need to go to work every day like the dad did. π
I checked out the Smarter every day synchronized test about the direction of draining water. So cool.
There’s a little bit of geek in all of us. π
I love how he doesn’t talk too fast and has pauses in between thoughts to let us ponder for a bit.
Yes. I also love his little kid type of excitement to his topics.
