This morning was spent taping six courts for outdoor pickleball play.
Over 40 of us showed up in the early morning hours to tape pickleball lines on tennis courts at a local middle school.
I was surprised that so many came because it was Sunday and I assumed that many would go to church. Just shows that people are good and will help others…
Perhaps, like me, pickleball is their church. 🙂
After sweeping, blowing, measuring, taping, and stomping the tape, it was finally time to play.
And a good time was had by all…

My help would not be appreciated on the taping as I can’t keep lines straight. 😉
Joanne, you’d be fine. The lines are already there. But I have found out that the men have specific ideas as to what men should do and what women should do. Apparently only men can read a tape measure, even though I’ve probably measured ten times what most of them have ever measured. 🙂
That is an interesting observation. You definitely have way more experience than most of them. I notice that men are always surprised when I voluntarily lift or carry things….
Giggles. Growing up as daughters of an engineer, we don’t even think twice about stuff like that. We just do it! 😀
