Gold Canyon, Arizona
What fun we had on Saturday afternoon after the patio sale. We drove about 20 miles to shop and eat at Queen Creek Olive Mill.
It’s a great place to visit, although I must admit to being overwhelmed at first because there was so much to choose from.
Of course, there were olives.
And lots of different olive oils.
Dozens of cheeses and salamis to choose from.
Scores of wines were available including many from local wineries.
Bath and body goodies including some gingerbread soap that smelled divine.
Beautiful cooking utensils made from olive woods.
Cupcakes made from flavored olive oils.
And we scored a 15% discount on almost everything we bought because it was Small Business Saturday!
I included this picture because I want to remember to make those trees which were simply cut out from cardboard with tiny white lights randomly poked through from behind… 🙂

What a very cool store. Did one of your neighbors recommend it? I was throwing olives in my mouth left and right until I finally looked at the calories of an olive.
ILTB.
One of our neighbors did recommend it, Lorraine. It pays to talk… It’s also in an area magazine, so it looked intriguing. I love olives, too. 🙂
What a cool store! What did you eat?
I had a delicious chicken panini and Rich had a great roast beef panini. I bought some pomegranate balsamic vinegar and roasted garlic dipping oil among other things…
